Low Carb Stuffed Peppers Topped with Cheese
Ingredients
6 medium green peppers washed and sown
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Chop 3 cloves of garlic
1 pound ground beef
14.5 ounces diced tomatoes
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
3/4 cup split marinara sauce
3 sliced cheese Colby Jack sliced
3 sliced mozzarella cheese sliced
Instructions
- Cut the peppers on top. Squeeze in and discard the seeds. Cut half the top and set aside.
- Fry the garlic in a pan in olive oil until aromatic. Add chopped green peppers from the tops. Cook for about five minutes.
- Add ground beef and cook until tender.
- Combine the diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, sea salt and onion powder. Cook another five minutes.
- Fill the beef mixture into each hollowed green pepper. Put 1 tablespoon of marinara sauce on the table, then sprinkle with chopped cheese.
- Combine the remaining marinara sauce with the liquid left in the pan used to make the beef mixture. Pour into the baking dish 11 × 7. Place the stuffed peppers on top.
- Bake at 375 ° F for about 20 minutes.
