PRALINE CRUNCH
INGREDIENTS:
8 cups of Crispix cereal
2 cups of pecan halves
1/2 cup brown sugar, packaged
1/2 cup of corn syrup
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking powder
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 250ºF.
- Mix the muesli and pecans in a large bowl.
- Mix the brown sugar, corn syrup and butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to the boil and stir occasionally. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla and baking powder. Pour over the grain mixture and distribute evenly.
- Pour the cereal mixture into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
- Pour on wax or parchment paper to cool. Break.
