Cauliflower Parmesan | Food Recipes Healthy Easy Health Diet

INGREDIENTS

1 large cauliflower, trim the stem and cut vertically into 1 "boards
3 tbsp. L. Extra virgin olive oil
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 in. marinara sauce
1/4 in. fresh grated parmesan, divided
1 grated mozzarella cheese
1/4 in. basil leaves torn if large
Red pepper flakes

DIRECTIONS


  1. Preheat oven to 425 °. Put the cauliflower in one layer on a baking sheet and oil both sides. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Fry, turning over once, until the cauliflower is tender and golden, about 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and pour each cauliflower steak with marinara sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella and half parmesan.
  3. Switch the oven to fry and fry the cauliflower until the cheese becomes blistering and golden in spots, about 3 minutes. Serve with the remaining parmesan, basil leaves and red pepper flakes.
