KOREAN BEEF SLOPPY JOES
Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds ground beef, 85/15 fat
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon sriracha
2 green onions, cut into thin slices
4 buns
Instructions
Note: press the time in the instructions to start the kitchen timer during cooking.
- Add the beef to a large pan, reduce the heat to medium and cook well, breaking it into pieces, but leaving pieces the size of raspberries or small grapes (do not break the line out of it, large crumbs will help to ensure the stability of the sandwich).
- Cook until they are browned (5-6 minutes), then add garlic, sesame oil, ketchup, hoisin, water, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and sriracha and mix well until the sauce starts to evaporate and the mixture becomes "sloppy." "(about 5-6 minutes).
- Fry the buns, then the spoons over the mixture and the green onions on top.
