INSTANT POT ORANGE CHICKEN RECIPE
Ingredients
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
1 cup orange juice
1/3 cup tomato sauce
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1 tablespoon of corn starch
1 tablespoon rice wine
Chop 4 cloves of garlic
1 orange zest
2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breast into small cubes.
- Pour oil into the pan and press “Sauté”.
- Add the chicken cubes and cook for 5 minutes until they turn brown. Stir constantly so that they turn brown on each side and do not allow them to stick to the pan.
- Add orange juice, tomato sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, rice wine, garlic and orange zest and mix.
- Block your Instant Pot and cook under high pressure for about 5 minutes
- Chill out ..
- Open the lid and press “Sauté” again.
- Add corn starch to thicken the sauce and mix. If your chicken has dried too much, add another orange juice.
- Cook for about 2 minutes until the sauce reaches the desired texture without lumps.
- Add chicken to a serving bowl, sprinkle with fresh steam on top and serve with rice if desired.
